Vice President Of Facilities And Support Services at North Kansas City Hospital

Nic Riesenberg, CHFM, CHC has extensive experience in facilities management and construction within the healthcare industry. Their most recent position was at North Kansas City Hospital, where they served as the Vice President of Facilities and Support Services. Prior to that, they were the Director Of Design And Construction at the same hospital.

Before working at North Kansas City Hospital, Nic was the Director of Facilities, Engineering, and Construction at Meritus Health. In this role, they led multiple departments and implemented Lean practices throughout the organization. They also created a master plan for the main campus and offsite facilities.

Prior to their time at Meritus Health, Nic worked at the University of Kansas Hospital as a Construction/Facilities Manager. They were responsible for planning and executing construction projects within an active hospital setting and worked closely with various stakeholders to ensure projects met expectations.

Before the University of Kansas Hospital, Nic served as a Construction Project Manager at the University of Iowa, where they led a successful team on a major medical education building project.

Earlier in their career, Nic worked at The Weitz Company as a Project Manager II, where they managed various new and remodeling projects. They also prioritized safety and developed new standards to achieve a zero-incident standard.

Nic also gained experience as a Project Engineer at The Walsh Group, where they oversaw the construction of high-rise buildings. Additionally, they started their career as a Carpenter at O&R Construction.

Nic Riesenberg, CHFM, CHC has a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix, which was obtained from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, Nic has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University, obtained from 1996 to 2001. Nic also holds certifications in Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) from AHA, obtained in 2014, and Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) obtained in 2013.
