Karilynn Brumley

KariLynn Brumley's work experience includes serving as the Director of Elementary Education at North Kitsap School District since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Seattle Public Schools in various roles, including Director of Schools and Continuous Improvement Division from 2019 to 2022, Director of Student Support Services from 2016 to 2019, Director of Special Education from 2014 to 2016, Elementary Principal from 2010 to 2014, and Elementary School Teacher from 1984 to 2010. KariLynn also served as the Director of Children's Ministry at First Free Methodist Church from 1995 to 2005, and as the University Elementary Internship Coordinator at Seattle Pacific University from 1990 to 1999.

KariLynn Brumley completed their education at various institutions. KariLynn attended Corbett High School from 1974 to 1978, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Afterwards, they enrolled at Seattle Pacific University from 1978 to 1982 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. KariLynn then continued their studies at the same university from 1980 to 1982, earning a Washington State Teacher Certification with a focus on Elementary Education and Teaching. Later, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Seattle Pacific University between 1990 and 1993. Lastly, from 2008 to 2010, KariLynn obtained a Washington State Administrator Certification in Educational Leadership and Administration from Seattle Pacific University.
