Sarah Barker-Doherty

Sarah Barker-Doherty is an accomplished theatre and education professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within prominent educational institutions and theatre companies. Currently serving as the Director of Theatre at Uppingham School since August 2023, Sarah has also held significant positions at North London Collegiate School (Singapore) as Vice Principal (Enrichment) and Director of Performing Arts & Head of Drama since July 2020. Prior experiences include Director of Visual and Performing Arts at Dulwich College International Management Asia Pacific and Head of Drama/Head of Arts Faculty at Aiglon College. Sarah has a rich background in professional theatre, having been the Artistic Director of THEATRE CARPE DIEM and Education and Director Associate at Birmingham Repertory Theatre, among other roles. With a focus on youth training programs and educational initiatives, Sarah has made substantial contributions to the theatre and education sectors.
