Sheerwan O'Shea-Nejad is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher of Economics at North London Collegiate School (Singapore) since August 2023. As a Co-Curricular Activities Coordinator in the Senior School and Head of House, Sheerwan also actively contributes to student engagement. In addition, Sheerwan is the Founding President of both the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Debating Union and the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Teachers Association, focusing on promoting debate and addressing educational challenges faced by the GRT community. Sheerwan has experience as an examiner for OCR and Pearson in Economics and has taught Economics and Business at various institutions, including St. Francis' College and The Henrietta Barnett School. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development from UCL, among others.
