Michelle Eastman

Michelle Eastman, CCIFP has extensive work experience in the construction and finance industry. Michelle served as the Chief Financial Officer at North Mechanical Contracting and Service, where they oversaw all financial operations, including reporting, cash flow management, insurance, human resources, and IT. Michelle played a crucial role in providing strategic leadership and input on corporate philosophy and structure.

In addition to their role at North Mechanical Contracting, Michelle served in various leadership positions at CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association). Michelle was the Immediate Past National Chairman, leading the association and providing guidance from 2019 to 2020. Michelle also served as the National Chairman from 2019 to 2020, National Vice Chairman from 2018 to 2019, and National Treasurer from 2017 to 2018. Michelle was a member of the CFMA Executive Committee for three years and served on various committees, including the Chapter Resource, Spring Creek, Finance, Peer Group, and Governance Task Forces.

Before their time at North Mechanical Contracting and CFMA, Michelle worked as a Controller at Charles C. Brandt Construction Co. from 2006 to 2014, and at Eastbrook Homes from 1997 to 2006. Michelle started their career as an Accountant at Design+Build Corporation from 1993 to 1997.

Michelle Eastman, CCIFP, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a major in Accounting/Management from the University of Phoenix, where they attended from 2007 to 2010. Before that, they attended Grand Valley State University from 1988 to 1991, where they focused on Public Administration/Health. In addition to their formal education, Michelle Eastman obtained the CCIFP certification from the ICCIFP in 2016.
