Ryan Greiner

Ryan Greiner serves as the Medical Director at North Memorial Health since July 2015, holding various roles that include Medical Director/Physician Advisor for Utilization Management, where significant initiatives led to a 6% reduction in the observation rate and a 75% overturn rate for peer-to-peer pre-bill denials. Greiner has actively participated as an invited speaker at notable conferences and webinars, showcasing expertise in hospital medicine and observation management. Prior experience includes positions at the University of Minnesota Medical Center as an Assistant Professor and Academic Hospitalist, where mentorship and research contributions were made. Greiner holds a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Creighton University.
