Shimon Cohen

Shimon Cohen has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Shimon started their career in 2002 as a Paramedic at CentraCare, where they worked until 2020. In 2004, they joined North Memorial Health as a Registered Nurse and Paramedic. Shimon currently holds the position of Director of Clinical Services Air Care at North Memorial Health.

Shimon Cohen holds a Doctor of Health Sciences degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Shimon also has a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from The College of St. Scholastica, and a Master of Science in Emergency Services Management from Columbia Southern University. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science from Montana State University Billings. Shimon also completed studies in Nursing/Registered Nurse at North Hennepin Community College, Paramedicine/Paramedic at Northland Community and Technical College, Fire Science/Firefighting at St Cloud Technical and Community College, and Combat Medicine at United States Army Schools & Centers. Shimon has certifications as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) from the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN), Certified Medical Transportation Executive from the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS), and National Registered Paramedic (NRP) from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
