Robert Smith

Robert Smith serves as vice president of Behavioral Health Services for North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss.

Smith came to NMMC from Lifecore Health Group, where he served as chief executive officer. As administrator, he provides leadership and oversight of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services and is leading efforts to grow and expand services for individuals who suffer from emotional or chemical dependency disorders.

He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Tennessee in Memphis, He is a licensed clinical social worker in Mississippi and Arkansas.
