Ahmed Elalim

Ahmed Elalim has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Ahmed recently worked as an ICS Security Specialist at North Oil Company Qatar. Prior to that, they were a Cyber Security Specialist at Qatar Chemical Company, where they developed an information security program and led various IT/OT security projects. Ahmed also served as a Sr. IT Security Officer at Abu Dhabi Media Company, where they developed and implemented an information security program and ensured compliance with government regulations. Before that, they were a Team leader in Security Analysis & Operation at Canar Telecom, where they led a team and worked on integrated security planning. Ahmed also had experience as a Telecomm Engineer at petrodar com, supervising the deployment of a fiber optic network and establishing control centers. Ahmed began their career as a Data Network Engineer at Sudatel Telecom Group, where they delivered internet and lease line services and tested new technologies.

Ahmed Elalim completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Khartoum. Ahmed attended the university from 1999 to 2003. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Khartoum, completing this program from 2004 to 2005.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Ahmed Elalim has obtained several certifications. Ahmed is a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) from GIAC Certifications, which they obtained in January 2022. Ahmed holds a GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) certification from GIAC Certifications, acquired in February 2021. Ahmed completed the "INNOVATION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES: MIT'S APPROACH TO DESIGN THINKING" program from MIT Sloan Executive Education in June 2020.

Furthermore, they are a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certified by the Project Management Institute, achieved in July 2013. Ahmed Elalim holds a Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA, obtained in October 2012. Ahmed is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certified by (ISC)², which they earned in June 2011. Lastly, they have a Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification from GIAC Certifications, obtained in March 2018.
