Ashish Balsawer

Ashish Balsawer has extensive experience in well and equipment engineering, currently serving as the Lead Well & Equipment Engineering and Principal Well & Equipment Engineer at North Oil Company Qatar since May 2017. Prior roles include Senior Well & Equipment Engineer at Maersk Oil from May 2007 to May 2017, where responsibilities involved reviewing well prognosis, drilling and completion programs, and drafting the first Well Integrity Management procedure. Additional experience includes serving as a Well Technologist and Wellsite Drilling Engineer with Maersk Oil, where involvement encompassed the evaluation and management of wellhead systems and rig operations in the Danish North Sea and offshore Qatar. Earlier positions included Design Engineer at Aker Kvaerner Powergas, focusing on petrochemical foundation design, and Structural Engineer with Jacobs Babtie in India. Ashish Balsawer holds a Masters of Technology in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
