Craig Dodds

Craig Dodds has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Craig started their career at Bluewater Energy Services in 2000, where they worked as a Permit Co-ordinator and Safety Technician on the FPSO Uisge Gorm. Craig then transitioned to the role of Offshore Safety Advisor on the same FPSO before being transferred to the FPSO Haewene Brim in the Central North Sea. In these roles, they focused on daily safe operations, providing advice to technicians and management, and implementing the organization's HSEQ policy. From 2010 to 2012, Dodds worked as an iSSOW Project Manager at Bluewater Energy Services, managing the implementation of an electronic Permit to Work system for FPSOs worldwide.

Dodds joined Maersk Oil in 2012 as an HSSEQ Specialist in the UK. Craig was tasked with improving the safety record of Maersk Oil UK following an acquisition. Craig served as the corporate conscience and reported to both onshore and offshore management. Craig later became a Shutdown/Marine Safety Advisor at Maersk Oil Qatar, where they provided HSE support to offshore assets and contract vessels in the Al Shaheen oil field, the third-largest in the world. Craig also assisted in the transition from Maersk Oil to North Oil Company Qatar.

Most recently, Dodds has been working at North Oil Company Qatar since 2017. Craig began as an HSE Superintendent, reporting directly to the Offshore Installation Manager on one of the production platforms. In this role, they were responsible for daily safe operations and maintaining efficient production. Craig later assumed the position of Field Operations Safety Lead, although the end date of this role is not specified.

Throughout their career, Dodds has demonstrated expertise in HSE management, project management, and fostering a safety culture within organizations.

Craig Dodds has a postgraduate degree in Safety and Risk Management from the University of Strathclyde. Craig also holds a Diploma in NCRQ from NCRQ.
