Dr. Fawzi al-Ajji

Dr. Fawzi Al-Ajji has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Dr. Fawzi currently serves as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at North Oil Company Qatar since 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Maersk Oil Qatar from 2008 to 2017, holding multiple roles including Education Relations Manager, Senior CSR Advisor, and Head of Qatarization. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and implementing education and technology partnerships, creating and administering educational programs for employees and their families, and leading nationalization efforts. Before joining Maersk Oil Qatar, Dr. Al-Ajji worked as a Senior Petroleum Engineer at the same company from 1997 to 2004, where they conducted an extensive review of well stimulation and performance data, resulting in significant cost savings and productivity improvements. Additionally, they have worked as the Associate Director of Admission at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar from 2004 to 2008, leading successful recruitment campaigns and representing the university in various countries.

Dr. Fawzi Al-Ajji completed their education with a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Education from the University of Southern California in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, which they attended from 1995 to 1997. Before their master's degree, Dr. Al-Ajji obtained their Bachelor's degree in Natural Gas Engineering from the same institution, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where they studied from 1992 to 1995.
