Gordon Ovens

Gordon Ovens is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in well services, having held various leadership roles since 1984. Currently serving as the Well Services Superintendent at North Oil Company Qatar since April 2019, Gordon has previously worked as the Chief Technical Officer and Thailand General Manager at Black Diamond Well Services, where the focus was on leading complex well intervention projects. Gordon's background includes significant roles at Chevron Thailand as a Wireline Performance Advisor and Superintendent, as well as management positions at Unocal Thailand and Expro in both Thailand and Australia. A strong emphasis on training and competency development has been a hallmark of Gordon's career, with previous roles as a Training Manager and Coordinator in various organizations.
