Marcos Arocha

Marcos Arocha is an experienced financial planning professional with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Lead of Financial Planning at North Oil Company Qatar since July 2017, Marcos oversees a team focused on ensuring compliance with financial regulations and operational agreements. Previously, Marcos held various roles at Total E&P, including Planning and Economy Engineer and Financial Controller, where significant contributions were made to the financial oversight of complex projects in Venezuela. Additionally, experience as an Operations and Planning Analyst at China National Petroleum Corporation and as a Commercial and Marketing Planning Analyst at Tenaris further solidified expertise in financial analysis and market forecasting. Marcos holds a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Economics and Management from IFP School and degrees in Natural Gas Business Management and Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
