Irina Gordiyenko, MCIPD, has extensive work experience in various HR roles across multiple companies. Irina started their career in 1998 as a Freelance Consultant at Glencore. From 1998 to 2004, they worked at Agip KCO (ENI) as an HR & Organisation Development Advisor and later as an HR, Process and Systems Coordinator. During this time, they were responsible for implementing new HR systems, conducting business process reviews, and designing new organizational structures.
In 2006, they joined Shell as a Talent, Learning, and Resourcing Advisor, where they developed and delivered talent, recruitment, and resourcing plans for major technology hubs internationally. Irina later served as the Head of Recruitment and Resourcing for a joint venture in Kazakhstan, where they collaborated with external stakeholders to deliver workforce design and nationalization plans. Irina also worked as a Talent Manager and HR Business Partner for Shell and its joint ventures, where they implemented workforce planning and talent management frameworks.
Since 2017, Irina has been working at North Oil Company Qatar, where they initially served as a Senior HR Business Partner before taking on the role of Head, Learning & Development in June 2020. In their current position, they are responsible for leading the learning and development function.
Throughout their career, Irina has demonstrated a strong understanding of HR practices and has successfully implemented various HR initiatives and programs.
Irina Gordiyenko, MCIPD, completed their education in a chronological order. In 1992, they enrolled at the University for World Languages and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics in 1996. Irina'sfield of study focused on English Language and Literature. Following this, they pursued further education at the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD) from 2000 to 2003, earning an MCIPD degree in Human Resources Management. In May 2012, they obtained a LEAN certification from Shell Open University as an additional achievement in their professional development.
