Nicole Stuart

Nicole Stuart has over 18 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Nicole is currently working as a Senior Drilling Engineer at North Oil Company Qatar since January 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Wells Engineer at Petrofac from July 2019 to November 2020. Prior to Petrofac, they served as a WellSite Drilling Engineer at Ithaca Energy from February 2019 to July 2019.

Nicole also has experience as an Offshore Drilling Engineer at Exceed/Fairfield from May 2018 to February 2019 and at Exceed/RepsolSinopec from December 2017 to May 2018. Nicole started their career as a Drilling Engineer at Maersk Oil in February 2012 and worked there until March 2016. During their time at Maersk Oil, they successfully completed the Maersk MITAS program and was responsible for well design, planning, and delivery of drilling programs.

Prior to their oil and gas industry experience, Nicole worked at Halliburton as a Data Engineer/Crew Leader from November 2008 to February 2012. Nicole'sresponsibilities included monitoring gas levels in wells, facilitating communication between offshore personnel, and maintaining accurate trip records during tripping operations. Nicole also has early work experience at HMRC as a Support Services Operator from January 2004 to November 2008, where they resolved issues with tax credit accounts, issued written correspondence, and handled sensitive financial information.

Nicole Stuart started their education at Edinburgh College of Art from 1998 to 2003, where they pursued a 3-year Ordinary degree in Architecture. Following that, they attended the University of Glasgow from 2004 to 2008, and obtained a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. Later, in 2016, they enrolled at the University of Aberdeen and completed their Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2017.
