Skander Mekkaoui

Skander Mekkaoui is an experienced professional in petroleum engineering with a focus on well performance and production optimization. Currently serving as the Lead for Well Performance Methods at North Oil Company Qatar since October 2023, Skander previously held roles as Wells Performance Lead and Artificial Lift Lead at Assala Energy from March 2020 to October 2023. Prior to that, Skander worked at OMV as a Production Technology Team Leader and Production Technologist from January 2012 to March 2020, and at ETAP (Tunisia National Oil Company) as a Production Technologist from January 2007 to December 2011. Skander is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering at the National School of Engineers of Tunis, further enhancing expertise in artificial lift, well completion, and production optimization.
