Tahir Raja Abbas

Tahir Raja Abbas has over 20 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Tahir Raja started their career in 1998 as a Senior Chemical Engineer at Gillette UK Limited, where they worked until 2001. Following that, they worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Wood Group from 2001 to 2004, and then at KBR as a Senior Process Engineer from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2017, Tahir worked at Maersk Oil, taking on various roles including Lead Process Engineer, Head of Production Chemicals, Head of Process Safety, and Senior Process Engineer. In 2017, they joined North Oil Company Qatar as a Principal Process Engineer, and later became the Head of Production Improvement in 2019.

Tahir Raja Abbas obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, where they attended from 1988 to 1991. Tahir Raja then pursued further education at the same university, completing their Master's degree in Design of Chemical Plant from 1991 to 1992.
