Cecilia Lopez

Cecilia Lopez is an experienced administrative professional currently serving as an Administrative Assistant II at North Orange County Community College District since August 2024. Previously, Cecilia held roles including Administrative Assistant at Human Options, Inc., where responsibilities included managing administrative services and data entry for client cases, and Student Researcher at Latinx Research Center, contributing to research on Modesta Avila under Dr. Pablo Gonzalez. At the University of California, Berkeley, Cecilia developed student-led curricula on anti-oppression and social justice, interned at the Multicultural Center, was a Mellon Mays Fellow focusing on academic diversity, coordinated research on historical Latinx displacement, and co-managed film screenings. Other positions include Grants Coordinator for the California Arts Council and Brand Ambassador for Guayaki Sustainable Rainforest Products, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement, education, and the arts.
