Avery Hansen

Avery Hansen currently serves as a Varsity Assistant Tennis Coach and is involved in the volleyball program as a JV Head and Varsity Assistant Coach at North Polk Community School District, contributing to the team's success as 2024 Conference Champions and producing several state qualifiers. Additionally, Avery holds the position of Administrative Assistant with the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference, facilitating communication between coaches and athletic directors. Experience includes roles as a J-Hawk Livestream Producer for varsity basketball seasons at Urbandale Community School District, a Communications Intern at ChildServe, and coaching positions at Ballard High School. Complementing a diverse work background in food service and sports operations, Avery is pursuing a Master’s degree in Sport Administration at the University of Cincinnati, having previously earned a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from Iowa State University.
