Joseph Fretschel has over 20 years of work experience in the banking and automotive industries. Joseph started their career at Community Credit/Norwest Corp in 1992, where they held the position of General Sales, Operations, and Loss Mitigation Manager. Joseph was responsible for overseeing the origination, underwriting, booking, and commodity checks for indirect lending in Wisconsin. Joseph consistently exceeded lending goals while maintaining credit quality.

In 1999, Joseph joined Palmen Auto Stores as a Finance Manager. During their time there, they successfully influenced the addition of GMAC to the dealership floor plan, opening up another lending source. Joseph also delivered car loans and leases to subprime buyers who were turned down at other dealerships.

In 2001, Joseph moved to Banc One Corp as an Indirect Sales and Operations Site Manager. Joseph directed all activities related to the origination, booking, collection, and disposition of indirect loans in a 5-state region. Joseph successfully opened business with dealers in Minnesota and changed the mix of business to more profitable "A" and "B" paper.

Since 2002, Joseph has been working at North Shore Bank as the VP/AVP | Loan Servicing Manager and Corporate Banking Servicing Manager. Joseph oversees all aspects of loan servicing operations, including consumer and commercial leases, direct and indirect loans, construction loans, and lease accounting. Joseph has implemented efficiencies to manage a significant increase in loan volume without adding staff.

Joseph Fretschel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include a Title Examiner Certificate from the Wisconsin Land Title Association in May 2020, a Certified Business and Commercial Lender certification from the American Bankers Association in March 2019, and a Notary Public certification from the State of Wisconsin in October 2017. Joseph also completed the Mini MBA Certificate Program from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago in March 2012. Furthermore, they hold a Brown Belt I certification from the US Judo Association in June 2005 and a Wisconsin Resident Intermediary Insurance License from the Wisconsin Commissioner of Insurance in February 1994. Currently, Joseph's education history does not mention any information about the NMLS certification.
