Emily Koe

Emily Koe is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Research Interviewer at North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center and as a Research Assistant at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since May 2020. Additionally, Emily has contributed as a Volunteer Research Assistant at EBB Lab and previously was a Student Athlete at Columbia University from September 2016 to May 2020. Emily's relevant experience includes an internship as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UCLA Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics, where involvement in gene therapy research took place, and an internship in the Emergency Department at Providence Tarzana Medical Center, which involved shadowing medical professionals and assisting with various tasks. Emily further enhanced language skills through a summer program at Peking University focused on the Chinese language. Education was completed at Columbia University between 2016 and 2020.
