Mohammad Mustafa Haider

Trustee at North South University

Mohammad Mustafa Haider is a trustee at North South University. Mohammad previously served as the executive director at North South University from May 2005 to May 2014. In this role, they were responsible for initiatives to outreach foreign universities, international bodies, and responsible for international matters including MOUs, international students and visitors. Mohammad also helped formulate and implement a strategic plan and develop an assessment plan for the external office. Prior to their work at North South University, Haider worked as an assistant professor at the University of Windsor in Canada from September 2002 to May 2005. In this role, they taught statistics for the sciences course to the undergraduate classes and also taught business data analysis, statistical quality control, operations management, decision modeling, distance operations management courses to the undergraduate business students.

Mohammad Mustafa Haider has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, USA. Mohammad also has a Master of Science in Statistics from Jahangirnagar University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the same school. Mohammad has done post-doctoral research in Industrial Statistics at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
