Jonathan Krieps

Jonathan Krieps has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jonathan currently serves as an Advisory Board Member at BWG Strategy LLC, a network for senior executives in technology, media, and telecom. Previously, Krieps held various positions at North State Bank, including Chief Operations Officer, Chief Banking Officer, Senior Vice President/Senior Operations Officer, Senior Vice President/Director of Credit Administration, Senior Vice President/Credit Administration, and Vice President/Commercial Banker. Before that, they worked as a Vice President/Area Executive at Waccamaw Bank and a Senior Vice President, Regional Executive at NewBridge Bank. Earlier in their career, Krieps held roles at RBC as a Small Business Specialist and Vice President/Business Banker, and at Huntington National Bank as a Senior Vice President/Senior Portfolio Manager, VP, Regional Credit Administration, Commercial Credit, Credit Officer, Credit Analyst Manager, Credit Analyst, and Vault Teller. Additionally, they worked as a Proof Operator at One Valley Bank, NA.

Jonathan Krieps has a strong education background in the field of finance and banking. Jonathan obtained a Post Graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Charleston, attending from 1992 to 1994. Jonathan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from West Virginia State University, which they completed from 1985 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Jonathan achieved the designation of Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International in July 2012. Furthermore, they received the Credit Risk Certified designation from The Risk Management Association in April 2005. Jonathan also attended the North Carolina School of Banking, organized by the North Carolina Bankers Association in August 2004.
