Kate Moore, LICSW, serves as the Director of Emergency Services at North Suffolk Community Services since December 2014. With a strong background in social work, Kate previously held the position of Adjunct Professor at Wheelock College from September 2011 to December 2017 and worked as a Social Worker at YouthConnect, connecting at-risk youth to positive choices in collaboration with the Boston Police Department. Prior experience includes serving as an HIV intensive medical case manager at Span, Inc., assisting individuals transitioning from incarceration, and providing social work services at MAP, focusing on job training for young men involved with the Department of Youth Services. Kate holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wheelock College and a Bachelor of Social Work with a focus on Juvenile Justice/Youth Advocacy from the same institution.
