Mark Wallman

Mark Wallman is a licensed mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles within the mental health field. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist in private practice since September 2022, Mark is also an active Utilization Manager at North Texas Behavioral Health Authority since January 2020. Previous positions include Licensed Professional Counselor at SBICC from February 2019 to May 2022 and Private Practice Mental Health Therapist at CCA of North Texas from January 2013 to January 2019. Mark began a career in mental health as a Therapist at Apple Counseling from May 2014 to August 2017 and was a Chemical Dependency Counselor at Caron Foundation from May 2012 to April 2014. Mark holds a Master's degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University, earned between 1991 and 1995.

North Texas Behavioral Health Authority

The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is the state designated Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. NTBHA was created to be a safety net for our behavioral health system of care, which encompasses mental health, substance use, and crisis services for persons eligible for Medicaid and/or public behavioral health funds within our six county region.
