Eryka Thompson

Eryka Thompson currently serves as a Senior Communications Specialist at North Texas Food Bank since January 2022, previously holding the role of Communications Specialist. Prior experience includes working as the Editor of Engagement for The University Star, where responsibilities encompassed drafting newsletters, managing social media, and overseeing marketing efforts. Eryka has also functioned as a Public Relations Specialist, planning various events and conducting subject interviews. In earlier roles, Eryka worked as a Senior Sales Associate at Digiphoto Entertainment Imaging and as a Sales Associate at The Children's Place, alongside a position as a Carhop at SONIC Drive-In. Eryka holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Texas State University and an Associate of Science degree from Dallas College Mountain View Campus.
