Yasmine Wicker

Yasmine Wicker is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Vice President of Communications for the North Texas Food Bank's Young Professional Council since September 2022. Experience includes a Summer Legal Internship at CenterPoint Energy, where research on labor and employment issues was conducted, along with preparation of SEC-filings. Previous roles include a Legal Internship at the Harris County Attorney's Office with responsibilities in legal research and drafting, and Senior Paralegal at the Housing Authority of the City of Dallas, where eviction requests were reviewed and legal documents drafted. Yasmine also worked as a Legislative Liaison for the U.S. House of Representatives, coordinating Dallas County's legislative strategy, and held legal assistant positions at Hicks Law Group PLLC and Kastl Law P.C., focusing on client management and document preparation. Yasmine holds a degree in Administration of Justice and Public Administration from Texas Southern University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law at Texas Southern University—Thurgood Marshall School of Law, specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
