Akash Taduri

Akash Taduri has a diverse work experience. Akash is currently serving as the President of the North Texas ISSA UTD Subchapter, where they revived the student organization at the University of Texas at Dallas and expanded it to become one of the largest ISSA student subchapters in the United States. Akash strategized the growth of the subchapter in terms of both members and officers. Prior to this, Akash worked as an Information Security Consultant at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). In this role, they monitored, analyzed, and escalated security incidents observed in the SIEM tool, and defined recommendations for fine-tuning security alerts. Akash also reviewed user access control for critical applications and implemented access control policies across various environments used by the organization. Before joining FAB, Akash was a Planning Engineer at Consolidated Contractors International Company. In this role, they built and updated project schedules using Primavera P6, developed micro schedules, and maintained monthly and three-month look ahead schedules.

Akash Taduri holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Akash is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security, Technology, and Policy at The University of Texas at Dallas, expected to be completed from 2022 to 2024. In addition, Akash has obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Security+ ce in 2023, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals in 2021, and Lead Auditor certifications in Business Continuity Management Systems ISO 22301:2019 and Information Security Management Systems ISO/IEC 27001:2013 in 2020.
