Holger Jones is an experienced Computer Scientist with a career spanning over four decades, currently serving at North Wind Group since September 2020. Prior roles include positions at Akima, LLC and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where significant contributions included adapting large physics code bases for the Sierra Supercomputer and developing performance portability frameworks like RAJA and CHAI. Holger Jones has also led projects in motion imagery video processing and geo-positioning, and has extensive experience in high-performance computing kernel development and scientific visualization. Holger Jones began a career in education as an instructor at the US Army Intelligence Center and School. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of the Pacific.
