James Long

James Long serves as a Director on the Board of Directors for NorthBay Healthcare Group since November 2014 and has been the Medical Director of the NorthBay Cancer Center since January 2002, focusing on quality care and program development. In the role of Chair of the Department of Medicine, oversight of quality and performance standards for over 120 members has been a key responsibility. Previous experience includes being a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist at Redwood Regional Medical Group and serving as a Lt Col and Command Physician in Hematology Oncology for the United States Air Force, where operations included providing care to military personnel and their families. James Long obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Lamar University.
