Meredith Lagoy

Meredith received her Master of Social Work form Arizona State University in 2001 and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. Meredith has been working in the field of social services since 1993 in a variety of roles. She started out working as a residential counselor and a community-based case worker prior to relocating to Arizona in 1995. While in Arizona Meredith worked as a Child Welfare Worker through the State of Arizona Child Protective Services Division. After having two children in Arizona Meredith moved back to Massachusetts in 2002 to be close to family. Meredith began working as a clinician in a residential facility with youth who had problem sexual behavior (PSB); this is where she found her passion for working with this population. Meredith was drawn to work at NCYF due to their Safe Passages Program, placing youth with PSB in foster homes in 2004 and has been at NCYF ever since. Meredith has dedicated over 15 years to NCYF and has worked in many roles in various service areas during that time. Meredith became the Associate Executive Director in 2013, transitioning into the Executive Director role in 2019. Meredith served on the MASOC Board from many years and is now currently serving on the Human Service Forum Board. Meredith has committed her professional career to ensuring that all individuals regardless of needs or backgrounds receive the best quality services and support to enable them to reach their full potential and have highest quality of life possible.
