Dave Westfall

Senior Faculty Member, Family Medicine Residency

Dave Westfall is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in family medicine and public health. Currently serving as a Senior Faculty member in the Family Medicine residency program at Northeast Georgia Health System since March 2018, Westfall also holds the position of Affiliated Professor at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, a role maintained since January 2010. Westfall has been actively involved with the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians since 1978, contributing as a member and committee chair. Previously, Westfall served at the Georgia Department of Public Health from February 2006 to January 2017 and has taught in the Executive MPH program at Rollins since then. Westfall's educational background includes an MPH in Prevention Science from Rollins, a Certificate in Medical Management from Tulane University, an MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine, and a BA in English/Chemistry from the University of Florida, along with studies at Davidson College.
