Elisabeth Hughes

Elisabeth Hughes possesses extensive experience in learning and organizational development, currently serving as Senior Director of Learning & Engagement at Northeastern University since August 2012. In this role, Elisabeth builds connections between engagement and learning, launching comprehensive frameworks and programs. Prior to this, Elisabeth held various positions at Northeastern, including Director and Associate Director of Learning & Organizational Development and Manager of Learning & Development, focusing on talent management and leadership development. Elisabeth's previous experience includes significant roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where leadership development strategies were crafted, and at Brown Brothers Harriman, where Elisabeth established global training programs and led human resources initiatives. Elisabeth holds an AB in Romance Languages & Literatures from Harvard University and an MBA in Organizational Behavior from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
