Ellen Fargason Mathis

Ellen Fargason Mathis, CFRE, currently serves as the Senior Director of Major Gifts at Northeastern University, focusing on the College of Arts, Media, and Design and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. Previously, Ellen held multiple roles as Director of Development at both the LSU Foundation and the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden, where responsibilities included overseeing development for various colleges within the university. Earlier experience includes a Project Manager position and Donor Services role at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation. Ellen holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, with a focus on Public Relations, both from Louisiana State University, and has also studied at The American University of Rome.
