Jane Adams

Jane Adams is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Northeastern University, focusing on machine learning-driven software for visual analytics of high-dimensional biological data. With extensive experience in data visualization and bioinformatics, Jane has contributed to various projects, including building multi-omic knowledge graphs and developing visual analytics tools for exploring -omics research and spotting neurological anomalies. Jane's background includes roles such as Data Science Co-Op Graduate Researcher at The Jackson Laboratory, Graduate Research Intern at Ozette, and Data Visualization Artist in Residence at the University of Vermont. Jane holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Northeastern University, along with multiple degrees in Computer Science and Emergent Media, and has collaborated on research that spans diverse topics in data analytics and visualization.
