Gayle Benton

Gayle Benton is an accomplished professional in human resources with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Northern Arizona Council of Governments since December 2017, Gayle also operates Benton Consulting, LLC, providing HR and benefits consulting services to both private and public sector clients since April 2017. Previous roles include Director of Human Resources at Coconino Community College and Human Resources Manager at Coconino County Arizona, along with earlier positions that contributed to a strong foundation in HR practices. Gayle holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Arizona University and a Certificate in Public Management from Arizona State University.
