Hasantha Uswatta, CFA, serves as the Associate Director - Investments at the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) since September 2020, focusing on equity and debt financing for infrastructure projects across northern Australia. Previously, Hasantha held the position of Manager - Deal Advisory at KPMG, where expertise in advising institutional clients on infrastructure portfolios and M&A transactions was demonstrated. As Vice President at Asia Securities Private Limited, Hasantha led analysis on a diverse range of sectors, earning a silver award for investment research in 2016. Experience at HSBC involved managing significant corporate relationships and credit analysis roles. Additional experience includes positions at Acuity Knowledge Partners, where equity research analysis was performed for major European banks, and internships in public relations and microfinance. Hasantha received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and completed a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
