Jason Amos

Jason Amos has extensive experience in emergency management, currently serving as the Director of Emergency Management at Northern Health since November 2018, overseeing emergency management functions across 15 campuses. Previous roles include Manager of Emergency Management, where best practice systems were implemented, and Emergency Management Coordinator at Mount Alexander Shire Council, focusing on strategic planning and community engagement. A long-standing commitment to firefighting is evident from tenure as a volunteer firefighter with the Country Fire Authority from 2006 to 2023, where Jason achieved various leadership positions. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Public Safety (Emergency Management) and diplomas in Fire Technology and Sustainability Studies.
