Alexis Darby

Alexis Darby serves as the Head of Public Affairs at Northern Health Science Alliance Ltd, overseeing initiatives for both Northern Health Science Alliance and Health Equity North since October 2022. Previously, Alexis held the position of Senior Public Affairs Manager at the same organizations. Other notable roles include Head of Advocacy, Policy and Research at Greater Manchester Poverty Action, Policy Research Manager at The Northern Powerhouse Partnership, and Communications and Engagement Manager at Policy@Manchester. Alexis also served as Acting Head of Policy during a secondment at The Northern Powerhouse Partnership, Senior Account Manager at Roland Dransfield PR, Account Manager at PPS Group, and Senior Parliamentary Assistant and Press Officer in the Office of Andy Love MP. Early career experience includes Senior Account Executive at Ketchum and Account Executive at Political Lobbying and Media Relations. Alexis completed a degree in Social and Political Studies at The University of Sheffield from 2003 to 2006.
