Ivan Aldrich Urcia

Ivan Aldrich Urcia, PhD(c), MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CNOR, CSSM, CPHQ, currently serves as the Director of Care for Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii at Northern Health - BC, overseeing multiple hospitals and various healthcare programs including surgical services and oncology. Prior to this role, Urcia managed surgical services at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital and contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Saskatchewan. With a robust background in nursing, Urcia held positions as Charge Nurse in ventilator and operating room units, as well as OR Nurse roles in several institutions, including Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital and Tawam Hospital. Urcia's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart College, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Luzon State University.
