Shelby P. has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Shelby started their career as a Marketing Coordinator at Ashton College from October 2013 to October 2014. Shelby then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Milani Plumbing, Drainage & Heating from June 2015 to February 2016. After that, they joined Think Profits and held multiple roles such as Subcontractor from May 2015 to January 2016, Copywriter & PPC Administrator from February 2016 to November 2016, and Senior Content Developer & Project Manager from November 2016 to October 2018. Currently, Shelby is employed at Northern Health - BC, where they have held various positions including Coordinator, Web Services, Indigenous Health from January 2019 to November 2019, Lead, Knowledge Translation and Community Engagement, Indigenous Health from November 2019 to October 2021, Communications Specialist, Digital Engagement from October 2021 to November 2022, and currently as Communications Specialist, Digital Design since November 2022. Shelby is also the Lead, Digital Design since April 2023.

Shelby P. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) during the period of 2007 to 2011. In 2012, they attended the Blanche Macdonald Centre where they studied Fashion Merchandising. However, no specific degree was mentioned for this program. In 2016, they completed a short-term course in Project Management for Digital Communications at The University of British Columbia, focusing on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.

Additionally, Shelby P. has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they acquired the AdWords Fundamentals certification from Google.
