Keanu Montanez

Keanu Montanez is an experienced geology professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University since August 2025. Previously, Montanez held roles as a Surface Mapping Geologist at Rio Tinto, focusing on pit wall mapping and RC chip logging, and as an Ore Control Geologist at Nevada Gold Mines, where responsibilities included QA/QC of stope samples and geologic face mapping.
