Jenny Go

Research Assistant Professor at University of Minnesota

Jenny Go is a Research Assistant Professor in the Immunology Department at the University of Minnesota, a position held since July 2025. Previously, from February 2009 to August 2025, Jenny served as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Washington, focusing on the study of emerging viruses, particularly Zika virus, using nonhuman primate models. Jenny's expertise extends to virus-host interactions, developed during postdoctoral research at the University of Washington, where systems approaches were applied to profile lipids and metabolites in infected respiratory tissues in relation to pandemic H1N1 influenza. Jenny's foundational research experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a summer internship at Rocky Mountain Laboratories, NIAID, NIH. Jenny holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Illinois Chicago and a B.A. in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University.
