Soumya Sagar

Soumya Sagar is a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University since August 2019, responsible for teaching general chemistry laboratories to approximately 48-50 students across multiple courses. Prior experience includes a role as a Junior Scientist at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) during May to July 2014, where quality testing for the wet and dry properties of propellants was conducted. Soumya Sagar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Drug Delivery, Drug Discovery, and Targeted Cancer Therapy from Northern Illinois University (2019-2023) and a dual degree (BS-MS) in Synthetic Chemistry and Biology from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (2013-2018).
