Stephanie Richter

Stephanie Richter has served as the Director of Teaching Excellence and Support at Northern Illinois University since October 2008, leading faculty development and instructional support initiatives while teaching courses focused on teaching strategies in higher education. Previously, Stephanie held roles including Assistant Director at the Faculty Development and Instructional Design Center, where program planning and technology integration into teaching were key responsibilities. An experienced instructor, Stephanie has taught various courses, including program evaluation and online instructional design, at both Northern Illinois University and Illinois Online Network, while also contributing to committees and task forces related to educational quality and innovation. Stephanie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Technology and has a solid background in instructional design and technology from previous positions.
