Rachel van Aalst

Rachel van Aalst is an experienced Adult Peer Support Specialist currently employed at NorthKey Community Care since August 2021, previously serving in the same role at Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky & Southwest Ohio from October 2020 to August 2021. Prior to this, Rachel gained customer service experience at Starbucks as a Barista from March 2019 to October 2020, and worked at Come Back Shack in various roles, including Hostess and Cashier, from June 2017 to September 2017. Rachel also worked as a Spanish Language Tutor at Appalachian State University from September 2016 to May 2018, focusing on assisting students with course content and study strategies. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English - Creative Writing and Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture from Appalachian State University, earned in 2018.
