Bethany Bowling

Bethany Bowling currently serves as the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and as a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Northern Kentucky University, a position held since August 2007. Notable achievements include serving as the principal investigator for several National Science Foundation-funded initiatives aimed at enhancing STEM education and student success. In previous roles, Bethany has significantly contributed to college enrollment management, internal funding opportunities, and collaborative projects focused on inclusive excellence and student advising. With a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies - Biology Education from the University of Cincinnati and a BA in Biology from Thomas More University, Bethany has a strong background in biology education, curriculum development, and faculty development. Recognized for excellence in teaching, Bethany has received multiple awards for contributions to education and student engagement.
