Paul Bolin

Chief Human Resources Officer & SVP at Northern Light Health

Paul Bolin, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is the chief human resources officer and senior vice president for Northern Light Health.

In his role, Paul provides comprehensive strategic leadership of all aspects of Human Resources in support of the organization’s vision and mission with responsibility for guiding and directing HR related initiatives throughout the system, including compensation, benefits and other corporate HR activities.

He has dedicated his career to leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development within Maine.

Throughout his career, Paul has given back to Maine communities through many volunteering roles, some examples of which include the Maine Bar Association’s Fee Arbitration Commission, Eastern Maine Community College’s Early Education Program Advisory Board, The University of Maine’s Maine Business School Advisory Board, the City of Bangor Planning Board, Educate Maine, Girl Scouts of Maine, and The Maine Children’s Museum.

Additionally, he spent years as adjunct faculty instructing human resources professionals in Maine to prepare them for national certification. Paul has served as an officer of the Human Resources Association of Eastern Maine and has presented on workforce topics in both state and national conferences.

Prior to joining Northern Light Health, Paul spent the first 14 years of his human resources career in the retail and manufacturing industries.

Paul became the chief human resources officer and senior vice president of Northern Light Health in 2020.
