Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG) serves a population in excess of 400,000 people across a catchment area covering North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire and East Riding of Yorkshire The Trust runs three hospitals: • Diana Princess of Wales in Grimsby • Scunthorpe General Hospital • Goole and District Hospital And it also provides a range of services in the communities of North and North East Lincolnshire. Grimsby and Scunthorpe hospitals provide 24-hour A&E, acute medical care, maternity and children’s services, while Goole hospital has a minor injury unit, provides day case services, outpatient appointments and rehabilitation. • In 2019 we held 414,466 outpatient appointments, performed 46,731 operations, delivered 4,022 babies and treated 151,521 in A&E • In 2020 we received funding to build two new emergency departments at Scunthorpe and Grimsby hospital with other major Trust improvements on the agenda • We employ 6,500 staff across all our sites, including nursing and midwifery staff, medical and dental staff, technicians and scientists, administration and facilities staff, and are always looking for more skilled and caring people to join our organisation We aim to provide the very best accessible healthcare to our local population.
